Monday to Friday 5.00am – 8.30am

Saturday approx. 7.00am – 11.00am

About the Position

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning classrooms, boarding houses, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas.
  • Emptying bins and replacing liners.
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Dusting surfaces and wiping down desks.
  • Sanitising high-touch areas, including door handles and light switches.
  • Restocking bathroom supplies and cleaning products.
  • Sweeping, leaf blowing, and gurneying pathways, courtyards, stairs, walkways, and outdoor areas.
  • Removing cobwebs from building exteriors, eaves, and covered areas.
  • Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
  • Following all health and safety protocols.

About You

  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred. School or commercial experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and honesty.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and seek and receive feedback.
  • Ability to work independently in a designated work run area and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to pitch in and help others.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, pushing and pulling, standing for extended periods, walking on uneven ground, and going up and down stairs.
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment, such as leaf blowers and pressure hoses.
  • Collaborative team player who contributes to the school community.
